The 2025 NBA Playoff picture is now complete following the conclusion of the Play-In Tournament. The Golden State Warriors and Orlando Magic clinched the No. 7 seeds in the Western and Eastern Conferences, respectively, with wins on Tuesday night.
Play-in action continued Wednesday as the Miami Heat knocked out the Chicago Bulls and the Dallas Mavericks eliminated the Sacramento Kings. On Friday, Miami and the Memphis Grizzlies secured the final No. 8 seeds by defeating the Atlanta Hawks and Dallas Mavericks.
With the playoff field finalized, the first round officially tips off on Saturday. Four matchups had already been locked in at the end of the regular season:
- Eastern Conference: Knicks vs. Pistons, Pacers vs. Bucks
- Western Conference: Lakers vs. Timberwolves, Nuggets vs. Clippers
Now, all eight first-round pairings are confirmed. The opening round is scheduled to run through May 4, with the NBA Finals set to begin on June 5.
