Marc Marquez resisted relentless pressure from Marco Bezzecchi to win the San Marino MotoGP after a tense, race-long duel at Misano.
Starting fourth, the Ducati Lenovo rider wasted no time slicing through to second place after just three corners, once again locking onto Bezzecchi’s rear wheel – just as he had in Saturday’s Sprint.
From there, the pair engaged in a high-speed standoff, Bezzecchi controlling the pace at the front but unable to shake Marquez, who patiently bided his time.
When the decisive moment came, Marquez struck clinically to claim victory, denying Bezzecchi a dream home win and extending his stranglehold on the 2025 championship.
The win marks Marquez’s 16th grand prix triumph of the season, keeping his march toward a seventh MotoGP crown firmly on track.
