LeBron and Davis Reunite for 2025 All-Star Game

LeBron James and Anthony Davis will play together again, but this time on “Team Shaq” in the 2025 All-Star Game. Shaquille O’Neal, Kenny Smith, and Charles Barkley drafted their teams as honorary captains under the event’s new format. O’Neal made James the first overall pick, while Smith selected Anthony Edwards second.

“Team Chuck” boasts dominant size with Nikola Jokic, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Karl-Anthony Towns, and Victor Wembanyama, who is making his All-Star debut. O’Neal’s squad features Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, James Harden, and Davis, whom he selected third, reuniting him with James after Davis’ recent trade from the Lakers to the Mavericks.

NBA scoring leader Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (32.8 PPG) will play for Team Chuck. The All-Star format has shifted to a four-team tournament, with two semifinals and a final. The fourth team, “Team Candace,” led by WNBA legend Candace Parker, will feature top first- and second-year players alongside G League stars.

The 2025 NBA All-Star Game is set for February 16 in San Francisco, promising an exciting new format and intense competition among basketball’s biggest stars.
