Born in Surakarta on May 12, 2005, Alwi has been making waves in the badminton world. He is currently ranked 43rd in men’s singles, according to the Badminton World Federation (BWF). Since starting his international career in 2017, he has won several junior titles, including the YONEX Korea Junior U-13 and the 2019 Jaya Raya Junior U-15.
One of his most notable achievements came in 2023 when he clinched the BWF World Junior Championships title, defeating China’s Hu Zhe An in a thrilling three-game final (21-19, 19-21, 21-14).
