Jack Miller’s MotoGP career took a positive turn after a challenging stint at KTM, where his contract was not renewed for 2025. Facing limited options, Miller secured a factory contract with Yamaha to race for Pramac, bringing new optimism.
Pre-season testing went smoothly for Miller, with the Yamaha M1 impressing him, particularly its front-end feel, which he called “phenomenally fantastic.” His performance at Sepang showed that he quickly adapted to the bike, matching the pace of the factory Yamaha team, including Fabio Quartararo. While there are areas for improvement, particularly in rear-end handling and engine performance, Miller feels confident heading into the season.
Miller, who has adjusted his riding style to the Yamaha M1, enjoys the bike’s handling and is optimistic about his progress. He’s excited about the potential of the team and the bike, despite challenges in the transition from Ducati to Yamaha. Having previously raced with Pramac, Miller knows the team well and has been impressed by their adaptation to the new machine.
With the season starting in March, Miller’s optimism signals a promising new chapter in his career, leaving his tough years at KTM behind.
