With the 2025 MotoGP season fast approaching, a standout rider has emerged from preseason testing—and it’s not a Ducati rider. Instead, new Aprilia factory rider Marco Bezzecchi has earned high praise for his performances in Sepang and Buriram.

MotoGP commentator Jack Appleyard highlighted Bezzecchi’s remarkable effort, especially under challenging circumstances. “I’ll put my neck on the line—Bezzecchi has been the most impressive rider of preseason,” Appleyard stated.
Despite his teammate—defending world champion Jorge Martin—being sidelined early, Bezzecchi took on a doubled workload. He managed the pressure methodically, delivering strong race rhythm and precise feedback, which has significantly helped Aprilia improve.
“Aprilia struggled in the past, but Bez has put them in a position to compete this season. He’s not just here on talent alone—he’s a real thinker, with sharp analysis and decision-making,” Appleyard added.
Bezzecchi’s impact has reportedly exceeded Aprilia’s expectations, making him one of the most talked-about riders ahead of the 2025 season.
