Luka Doncic delivered a stunning 32-point performance to lead the Los Angeles Lakers to a dominant 123-100 road win over the Denver Nuggets, ending their nine-game winning streak.
In just his fourth game since joining the Lakers, Doncic showcased his brilliance with 32 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists. LeBron James added 25 points, while Austin Reaves (23) and Rui Hachimura (21) helped fuel a balanced offensive display.
“I’m starting to feel a little bit more like myself – that’s why I was smiling the whole game,” Doncic told ESPN. “Chemistry takes time, but things are getting better.”
Doncic set the tone early, racking up 16 points in the first quarter, including a deep three-pointer that helped the Lakers build a commanding lead. The Nuggets briefly cut the deficit to nine points at halftime, but the Lakers pulled away in the fourth quarter, sealing the statement win.
The victory moves Los Angeles to 34-21, keeping them fifth in the West, while Denver drops to 37-20.
