Marc and Alex Marquez Lead Spanish MotoGP Warm-Up at Jerez

Marc Marquez and Alex Marquez topped the timesheets during morning warm-up ahead of the 2025 Spanish MotoGP at Jerez.

Yamaha’s polesitter Fabio Quartararo, Ducati’s Francesco Bagnaia, and Tech3 KTM’s Maverick Vinales completed the top five as riders focused on race preparation using the medium rear tyre, which is expected to be the preferred choice for this afternoon’s grand prix.

Aleix Espargaro continues his Honda MotoGP debut as a wildcard entry, testing prototype parts on his RC213V. After retiring from full-time racing at the end of last season, the triple MotoGP winner for Aprilia has transitioned into a testing role with HRC.

Due to Jorge Martin’s injuries from Qatar, Aprilia test rider Lorenzo Savadori remains his substitute this weekend. Meanwhile, Yamaha test rider Augusto Fernandez continues to replace the injured Miguel Oliveira at Pramac for the third consecutive event.

The first official in-season MotoGP test of the 2025 season will take place at Jerez on Monday.
