Reigning MotoGP World Champion Jorge Martin has dropped a major hint about his return to racing, with the Czech Grand Prix at Brno (July 18–20) emerging as the likely target.
Martin has been sidelined for most of the 2025 season due to a string of injuries. His troubles began during pre-season testing in Malaysia and worsened after a training crash before the opening round in Thailand. A further setback came in Qatar, where a crash and subsequent collision with Fabio Di Giannantonio left him with broken ribs and a pneumothorax.
Having missed several rounds, a recent medical check ruled him out of the upcoming German GP. However, Martin posted an Instagram Story on July 1 showing himself watching FP4 from the 2020 Czech GP — a clear sign that he’s preparing for a Brno return.
The Brno circuit will host MotoGP for the first time since 2020, making it a fresh challenge for most of the current grid — and especially for Martin, who has never ridden a MotoGP bike at the track.
Despite limited time on the Aprilia RS-GP, Martin appears optimistic about returning at Round 12, using the break to study the circuit and build his fitness.
Fans now eagerly await confirmation that the defending champion will rejoin the grid in Brno.
