Jack Miller is determined to bounce back at the Catalan MotoGP after four consecutive non-scores, relying on positive private testing at Montmelo to spark a turnaround. The Australian, who has a podium and multiple top-five finishes at the circuit, is eager to rediscover form after a tough outing in Hungary.
“Montmelo’s a track I really like – I’ve had some proper scraps here and good results too,” Miller said. “Hungary was hard to take, so I’m fired up to bounce back big time this weekend. The test we did here in June gave us some solid data. I’m ready to roll up my sleeves, get stuck in, and give the fans something to cheer about.”
Team-mate Miguel Oliveira, fresh from his best Yamaha result of the season in Hungary, is also motivated for Barcelona, where he previously won with KTM. “We know the bike still has its limits, but testing here gives us more confidence. I’m ready to give it everything,” he said.
Pramac director Gino Borsoi is optimistic the layout will play to Yamaha’s strengths. “Barcelona suits our riders better than the recent circuits. Both Jack and Miguel have strong history here, which can give them an extra push to deliver.”
Miller currently sits 17th in the standings, with Oliveira 23rd, Alex Rins 19th, and Fabio Quartararo leading the Yamaha charge in tenth.
