Bagnaia Credits Manuel Poggiali and Casey Stoner for Japan MotoGP Success

Pecco Bagnaia highlighted the impact of Ducati video analyst Manuel Poggiali and two-time MotoGP champion Casey Stoner in his return to form at the Japanese Grand Prix.

After struggling through a difficult 2025 season, Bagnaia bounced back in Japan with pole position, a sprint victory, and the main race win. While much attention has been given to Stoner’s role in offering technical advice during the Misano test, Bagnaia stressed that Poggiali’s input was equally vital.

The Italian revealed that both Stoner and Poggiali identified the same issues with his GP25, particularly instability on one of the bikes, which helped Ducati pinpoint the solution. Reports suggest Bagnaia is now using GP24 components such as forks, swingarm, and ride height device.

Bagnaia credited their combined feedback as a turning point, allowing him to regain confidence and deliver his strongest weekend of the season.
