Bagnaia and Fernandez Triumph in 100km of Champions

Francesco Bagnaia and Augusto Fernandez claimed victory in the 11th edition of Valentino Rossi’s 100km of Champions dirt track race at the Tavullia Moto Ranch on Saturday.

Starting from ninth, the pair charged through the field to defeat defending champion and 2026 MotoGP rookie Diogo Moreira, who teamed up with Federico Fuligni, finishing 2.4 seconds ahead.

Luca Marini, a five-time winner of the event alongside Rossi, partnered with Matteo Patacca to secure third place, 3.9 seconds behind the leaders.

The win marked Bagnaia’s first 100km triumph, closing out a season where he finished fifth in the MotoGP standings. Fernandez wrapped up a busy year of Yamaha MotoGP testing, wild-card entries, and development work on the factory’s new V4 machine.
