Jack Miller backs Australia’s rising MotoGP talent beyond Senna Agius

Jack Miller believes Senna Agius is not the only young Australian with the potential to reach MotoGP, praising a new generation of riders making strong progress through the ranks.

With Miller’s MotoGP future uncertain, Australia’s 46-year run of having a rider on the premier-class grid is under threat. Agius, currently competing in Moto2, is regarded as the leading candidate to continue that legacy and has been linked with a possible move to Tech3 for the 2027 season.

However, Miller insists Australia’s future is not dependent on Agius alone. The Pramac Yamaha rider said several young Australians are doing a “fantastic job” and believes the country has plenty of emerging talent capable of reaching the highest level of Grand Prix racing in the years ahead.

Although Agius remains the strongest immediate contender for a MotoGP promotion, Miller is confident Australia’s pipeline of riders remains healthy, with more prospects poised to follow in the footsteps of legends such as Mick Doohan and Casey Stoner.
