Despite a strong second-place finish in Germany, Alex Marquez admits he’s “a little bit worried” heading into this weekend’s Czech Grand Prix at Brno due to lingering pain from a fractured left hand.
The Gresini rider, currently second in the MotoGP standings, says Brno’s flowing layout and multiple direction changes could put more strain on his injury than the Sachsenring did.
“I recovered quite well, but the situation hasn’t improved in four days,” he shared. “At Sachsenring, I struggled with the direction changes—and Brno has even more.”
With new asphalt and tyre tests awaiting, Alex aims to ride smart: “The goal is to lose the minimum points to Pecco and Marc, and give 100% based on how I feel session by session.”
