Alex Marquez’s Strong Start to MotoGP 2025 Comes as No Surprise

Alex Marquez’s outstanding form in the opening rounds of the 2025 MotoGP season has impressed many, but for some in the paddock, it was entirely expected. Former Pramac Racing team boss Francesco Guidotti praised Alex’s consistency and noted that signs of his current form were already evident during the winter testing period. According to Guidotti, the 2019 Moto2 world champion developed a remarkable sense of confidence with his bike early on, and that has translated into strong performances on race weekends.

With three rounds completed, Alex Marquez sits at the top of the championship standings with 87 points, just ahead of his brother Marc Marquez on 86, and Francesco Bagnaia on 75. His calm, confident riding has kept him in podium contention every race, signaling he’s a serious title contender this season.

The action continues as MotoGP heads to Qatar for round four, set to take place at the Losail International Circuit from April 11 to 13. All eyes will be on whether Alex can maintain his momentum at a track where his rivals have historically been stronger.
