Real Betis have secured the signing of Manchester United forward Antony in a €25 million (US$29.27 million) deal ahead of Monday’s transfer deadline. The agreement includes a 50% net sell-on clause but no compensation for the 25-year-old Brazilian.
Antony made 62 Premier League appearances for United, contributing five goals and three assists since his €81.3 million (US$95.18 million) move from Ajax in 2022. After joining Betis on loan in January, he scored nine goals across all competitions.
His departure is part of United’s ongoing squad overhaul, which also saw Napoli take Rasmus Hojlund on a season-long loan. Antony was among several players expected to leave, with Marcus Rashford, Tyrell Malacia, and Jadon Sancho also linked to exits. Rashford has already joined Barcelona on loan.
