Chelsea Climb to Fourth as Spurs Stage Comeback Against Bournemouth

Chelsea moved into the Premier League’s top four with a 1-0 win over Leicester, thanks to Marc Cucurella’s stunning strike at Stamford Bridge. The victory lifted them above Manchester City, keeping their Champions League hopes alive. However, it was a nervy performance, with Cole Palmer missing a penalty and Leicester coming close to equalizing.

Despite their struggles, Chelsea finally broke through in the 60th minute when Cucurella fired a powerful shot from 25 yards into the bottom corner. The win was just their fourth in 12 league games, but Enzo Maresca’s side remains in the race for a top-four finish. Leicester, on the other hand, suffered their fifth consecutive defeat and sit six points from safety.

At Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Spurs salvaged a 2-2 draw against Bournemouth after going two goals down. Marcus Tavernier and Evanilson gave the visitors a strong lead, but Pape Sarr pulled one back with an unexpected goal before Son Heung-min equalized from the penalty spot in the 84th minute.

Spurs, winless in their last three games, were looking to bounce back from a disappointing Europa League loss to AZ Alkmaar. Son’s late goal, his first in 10 matches, prevented another setback for manager Ange Postecoglou.
