Cristiano Ronaldo Hints at Al-Nassr Exit: “This Chapter Is Over”

Cristiano Ronaldo has signaled the end of his time at Al-Nassr, posting a cryptic message on social media shortly after the Saudi Pro League season concluded.

“This chapter is over,” the 40-year-old Portuguese star wrote alongside a photo of himself in the Al-Nassr kit. “The story? Still being written. Grateful to all.”

Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr in 2022 following his departure from Manchester United, and his contract expires this summer. Despite stating last year that he might retire at the Saudi club, his latest message suggests a change of plans.

During his time in Saudi Arabia, Ronaldo became the league’s top scorer with 24 goals this season. However, Al-Nassr fell short of major success, finishing third in the league and being knocked out of the Asian Champions League Elite by Kawasaki Frontale in April’s semi-finals.

A special FIFA transfer window from June 1–10 is set to allow the 32 clubs participating in the 2025 Club World Cup to register players, sparking speculation that Ronaldo could be preparing for a move.
