VR46 Ducati riders Franco Morbidelli and Fabio Di Giannantonio have congratulated newly crowned 2025 Formula 1 world champion Lando Norris.
Norris clinched his maiden F1 crown at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix after finishing third, edging out Max Verstappen by just two points. His win gives McLaren its first drivers’ title since 2008 and makes him the first British champion since Lewis Hamilton in 2020.
A huge MotoGP fan and long-time admirer of Valentino Rossi, Norris received warm praise from the VR46 squad. Di Giannantonio called the Briton’s achievement “beautiful” and “an amazing season,” while Morbidelli added his own congratulations.
Norris’ title celebrations extended across the MotoGP paddock, with Jorge Martin, Marc Marquez, Marco Bezzecchi, and Cal Crutchlow also sending their messages of support.
