Gresini Racing rider Fermin Aldeguer admitted he gained invaluable experience this season by learning from Marc Marquez and Alex Marquez, and believes his MotoGP results went beyond what he initially expected.
Aldeguer enjoyed an impressive debut year in MotoGP, securing the 2025 Rookie of the Year title. The young Spaniard also celebrated his first grand prix victory at the Indonesian MotoGP and added a podium finish during the season.
Reflecting on his debut campaign, Aldeguer described the year as an unforgettable one, saying the outcomes surpassed both his own expectations and those of others.
He highlighted the strong progress made throughout the season, noting that many of the team’s objectives were achieved, which made the campaign especially meaningful. Above all, Aldeguer said he truly enjoyed the experience, which he considers the most important part of his breakthrough year in MotoGP.
