Jack Miller has reportedly received a surprise offer to leave MotoGP and join Honda’s World Superbike (WorldSBK) team in 2026, as speculation over his future intensifies.
Currently riding for Pramac Yamaha on a one-year contract, Miller’s performances early in the 2025 MotoGP season have drawn attention—particularly his standout P5 finish at the Circuit of the Americas. Despite scoring no points in the last six races and sitting at his lowest championship tally since 2016, his value to Yamaha goes beyond results. His vast experience has played a key role in helping the Japanese manufacturer develop their new project alongside Pramac, who switched from Ducati machinery this season.
According to Speedweek, Honda has approached Miller to be part of their WorldSBK programme from 2026. Their current WorldSBK line-up features Iker Lecuona and Xavier Vierge, but Miller is seen as a high-profile addition who could elevate the team’s competitiveness.
After losing his KTM factory ride to rising star Pedro Acosta, Miller’s MotoGP future looked bleak until Pramac rescued him with a Yamaha seat. Since then, he has earned respect within the team for his development work—even if results haven’t consistently followed.
Pramac have indicated they’re in no rush to change their 2026 line-up, including Miller and teammate Miguel Oliveira. However, with no contract in place for next year, the Australian now has a clear alternative path in WorldSBK should he not remain in MotoGP.
