Jorge Martin Eyes Strong MotoGP Comeback After Injury-Hit Start

Jorge Martin’s second half of the 2025 MotoGP season is set to be closely watched after a frustrating, injury-affected start. The reigning champion has only completed one grand prix this year following preseason and Qatar injuries with Aprilia.

Despite speculation over his future, Martin confirmed in Brno that he will remain with Aprilia through 2026, ending contractual tensions. Now fully recovered, he will return to the RS-GP that teammate Marco Bezzecchi has already taken to victory at Silverstone and a podium in Brno.

Experts suggest Martin may need several rounds to regain full form but expect him to challenge Bezzecchi’s pace by season’s end, with potential podiums and even race wins possible. His past strength at circuits like Misano, Indonesia and Portimao could also deliver a Sprint race victory during the flyaway rounds.

The Brno performance, where he finished seventh and lapped just half a second off Bezzecchi’s pace, signals a promising restart. If momentum builds, Martin could end 2025 on a high and reshape the narrative of his Aprilia stint.
