Mbeumo eager to link up with Fernandes at Manchester United

Bryan Mbeumo is excited to join forces with Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes after completing his £65 million move from Brentford. The 25-year-old winger, who netted 20 goals and contributed seven assists last season, has signed a five-year contract, becoming United’s third signing of the summer.

Speaking on the Rio Ferdinand Presents podcast, Mbeumo expressed his admiration for Fernandes, highlighting his vision, shooting, and passing. “As a striker, you enjoy that,” Mbeumo said, adding that he expects their connection to develop quickly on the pitch.

He noted Fernandes’ intelligence and accuracy, saying, “You just need to make the run—he’ll find you every time.”

Mbeumo joins Matheus Cunha and Diego Leon as new arrivals, while United continue to be linked with Ollie Watkins and Benjamin Sesko.

United are currently in the US, preparing for their Premier League opener against Arsenal on August 17.
