Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard insists his team is unfazed by the challenge of facing Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday, despite United’s reputation as a tough home opponent.
While United have struggled this season, winning only two of their last seven home league games—both against relegation-threatened sides—they have shown glimpses of resilience, including an FA Cup shootout win over Arsenal in January.
“They’re not where they want to be in the table, but when they click as a team, they can be tough to play against,” Odegaard said.
Second-placed Arsenal, who defeated United 2-0 in December, are winless in their last two league games and sit 16 points behind leaders Liverpool, though with two games in hand. Despite United’s unpredictable form, Odegaard remains confident.
“We know their quality and the individual talent they have, but we are Arsenal, and we’re not scared to go there to win,” he declared.
