Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique was left frustrated by his side’s late-game struggles in their 3-2 victory over Olympique Lyonnais on Sunday, despite extending their winning streak to eight matches across all competitions.
PSG twice held a two-goal lead but conceded a stoppage-time goal, forcing them to defend nervously until the final whistle. While Enrique praised his team’s dominant performance, he stressed the need for better game control.
“When you play too much with your heart, your head stops working. With a two-goal advantage, you have to control the game,” Enrique said.
Coming off a 10-0 aggregate win over Brest in the Champions League playoffs, PSG remain unbeaten since November and now sit 13 points clear at the top of Ligue 1.
Up next, they face fourth-tier Stade Briochin in the French Cup quarter-finals on Wednesday
