Seung-jae and Won-ho Reunite for European Tour

South Korea’s Seo Seung-jae will reunite with Kim Won-ho for the upcoming European tournaments, including the prestigious All England from March 11-16. The pair, ranked world No. 82, impressed earlier this year by winning the Malaysian Open Super 1000 and finishing runners-up at the Indian Open Super 750.

Despite their strong performances, the Korean Badminton Association (KBA) experimented with different pairings, leading Seung-jae to team up with Jin Yong in Indonesia and Thailand. While they suffered an early exit in Indonesia, they rebounded by winning the Thailand Masters, their second title together after the China Masters.

Seung-jae and Won-ho will now compete in the German Open (Feb 25-March 2), Orleans Masters (March 4-9), and All England, aiming to continue their fine form. Meanwhile, Kang Min-hyuk, Seung-jae’s world title-winning partner, will pair with Ki Dong-ju for the Orleans Masters and All England after mixed results with various partners.

Surprisingly, Jin Yong, who recently won the Thailand Masters with Seung-jae, has not been selected for any European tournaments. The reshuffled pairings highlight KBA’s ongoing search for the best combinations ahead of major competitions.
