Trackhouse Aprilia is set to unveil a striking new look at this weekend’s Spanish MotoGP, with team principal Davide Brivio teasing that fans will “see the bike in a different colour.” After sporting special Gulf and stars-and-stripes liveries in the opening rounds, the team’s RS-GP26 machines will debut a fresh paint scheme at Jerez, thanks to a new partnership with SuperFile—a Chicago-based tech innovation company and existing Trackhouse NASCAR sponsor.
The full Trackhouse-SuperFile livery will be displayed on both Ai Ogura and Raul Fernandez’s bikes, marking the first time the MotoGP squad has adopted the sponsor’s colours. SuperFile’s branding first appeared on the RS-GPs in Austin, with Brivio promising a complete transformation “soon”—now confirmed for the Spanish Grand Prix.
Fernandez and Ogura enter Jerez in strong form, holding sixth and seventh in the world championship standings, respectively. Fernandez impressed with two podiums at the Buriram season opener, while Ogura was on the verge of his first premier-class podium before encountering a technical issue at COTA.
Reflecting on the team’s performance, Brivio commented, “We had a great start to the season with Raul on the podium and Ai with the potential to go on the podium as well. Jerez will be a good opportunity to test ourselves, to see where we are and if we can continue the positive start of the year. Moreover, we have a test on Monday which will be another opportunity to further work on settings in order to find a good base for the rest of the season.”
He added, “We’re going to Jerez, still quite excited from the beginning of the season and are extra excited as we have a surprise during the weekend—you will see the bike in a different colour.”
With momentum building and a new look on display, Trackhouse Aprilia is aiming to make a statement both on and off the track as the MotoGP season returns to Europe.
