Micah Peavy: Selected 40th overall in 2025, averaged 4.3 points and 1.9 rebounds per game as a rookie.

Taj Gibson: Veteran forward/center, 3.4 points and 2.7 rebounds in 10 games for Memphis last season. The 41-year-old joins his ninth NBA team.
AJ Johnson: Former No. 23 pick in 2024, averaged 3.3 points across 48 games with the Mavericks and Wizards before arriving in Memphis via trade.
Johnson departs Memphis without playing a game for the franchise, while Gibson brings veteran experience to New Orleans. Hawkins gives Memphis a young shooter with upside, and Peavy adds depth to the Grizzlies’ backcourt.
