Enea Bastianini has been officially announced as the newest rider for the Trackhouse Aprilia MotoGP team, partnering with Raul Fernandez for the 2027 season. The move comes after Ai Ogura opted to join the factory Yamaha squad alongside Jorge Martin, prompting Trackhouse to fill the vacancy with one of the paddock’s most experienced and talented riders.
Bastianini, a six-time MotoGP race winner, joins Trackhouse on a two-year deal after two challenging seasons with Tech3 KTM. “I am extremely excited to join the SuperFile Trackhouse MotoGP Team for the next two MotoGP Championships,” Bastianini said. “It is going to be a real new challenge for me as we are entering a new era with a new bike, new tyres and new regulations. I am happy to bring my experience and my fighting spirit to Trackhouse so that we can develop the new Aprilia RS-GP together.”
Trackhouse owner Justin Marks hailed the signing as a key moment for the rapidly rising satellite Aprilia squad: “His racing pedigree, MotoGP winning history, and experience at the top of this game all contribute to the perfect scenario for a racing team that we all believe is on the verge of greatness… We’re going to have a lot of fun chasing trophies and creating memorable moments over the next few years with Enea, Raul, and all the amazing people and partners at Trackhouse.”
With Bastianini’s addition, Aprilia’s 2027 line-up is solidified, featuring Marco Bezzecchi and Pecco Bagnaia on the factory team, and Bastianini with Fernandez at Trackhouse. The rest of the MotoGP grid for 2027 is taking shape, with several seats yet to be officially confirmed.
Bastianini is set to begin his new adventure with Trackhouse starting from the post-season test in Valencia.
